This privacy policy explains which personal data we process in connection with this website, why we do so and what rights you have. It is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP); where applicable we also take the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) into account.

2. Visiting the website and server log files
When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically stores technical information in log files (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser and operating system, referring page). We need this data to operate the website securely and reliably; it is deleted after a short time and not combined with other data. Hosting: [add hosting provider and server location at go-live].
3. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics, tracking or marketing cookies or advertising services. Technically necessary cookies are only set when editors log in to the administration area.
4. Fonts and content
Fonts and all images are loaded directly from our server; visiting the pages does not create connections to Google Fonts or other third parties.
5. Visit requests and contact
When you contact us via the form, by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, phone number, preferred date and message) to answer your request and arrange an appointment. Form requests are stored in the website database and sent to us by email. We delete them as soon as they are no longer needed. If you write to us via WhatsApp, the WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) privacy policy also applies.
6. Newsletter “Magical post”
For the newsletter we need your email address (first name optional) and your consent. We send it via [newsletter service, e.g. Mailchimp by Intuit Inc., USA – confirm at go-live]; data may be transferred to the USA (Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). The service may record whether a newsletter was opened and which links were clicked. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter or by emailing us.
7. YouTube video
A YouTube video is embedded on the “About us” page. It is only loaded when you click “play”. Only then is data (including your IP address) transmitted to YouTube or Google (Google Ireland Ltd., Google LLC, USA), and Google’s privacy policy applies.
8. Disclosure of data
We do not sell personal data. Data is only passed on to service providers we use to operate the website, send emails and the newsletter, or where we are legally obliged to do so.
9. Your rights
You have the right to information about your personal data processed by us and to have it corrected, deleted, restricted or handed over. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Please write to charismagica@gmx.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
10. Data security
The website is encrypted (HTTPS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
